Whew, it's been a long day. I worked a solo 8 hour shift at the Threads That Bind today, and was it ever busy! I cut fabric, ran the cash register, answered the phone and managed to squeeze in machine quilting a red, white and blue quilt for Quilts For Valor. The customers came in waves, giving me just enough time to clean up and put the bolts away before the next wave came in. Crazy, but the day did go by fast!
Now I am cozy in my recliner getting ready to pull the Grandmother's Flower Garden quilt on my lap and do some hand quilting. I'm ready for some relaxing, and handwork is just the ticket - it's a great way to unwind after a busy day. Try it - I'll bet you like it!
